What It Is
On this page, I will introduce you to the latest progress in learning this course. It will contain 4 parts: 1. Planning and Exploratory Writing, 2. Peer Review, 3. Self Review, 4. Revision. In the process, I completed some course goals.
SECTION 1. Planning and Exploratory Writing
This is an assignment about Week 2 Exploratory Writing: Killing Us Softly 4 & Looking into the Magic Mirror (Sunday). In this assignment, I completed the course objective:Apply these reading skills to various kinds of texts . In the beginning, I would not annotate the video like reading an article. But later, I learned that the original video has the same central idea and organized paragraphs as the article.
Below is a screenshot of mine.
This is an assignment about the annotations of the Sleeping Beauty movie. In this assignment, I think I have completed Improve your written literacy, digital literacy, and overall communication skills across several media, including the creation of texts in several genres this COURSE OBJECTIVE. The reason is that before, when watching TV, I would not think about the meaning of this scene. But, now, I will think about the meaning of this scene arrangement through annotations. Below is a screenshot of mine.
Section 2: Peer Review
This is a peer review on the construction of social roles. First of all, I think that I absorbed the good ideas of this classmate in the peer review. This completes the Understand the importance of peer review to your own reading and writing in the course objective. This can absorb the advantages of others very well and help me discover the self-deficiencies in the project in time.
This is a peer review of Week 2 Exploratory Writing: Killing Us Softly 4 & Looking into the Magic Mirror. I think that in this assignment, I have completed Improve your peer review skills through practice. From the beginning, I only know how to praise others and switch to giving reasonable suggestions to others. Everyone's knowledge, abilities, and the main tasks they have faced are similar. When people study similar fields, they tend to give more targeted and constructive opinions on the same thing.
Section 3: Self-Review
This is a note about my introduction. I wrote better at the time. But after reading it now, there are still many areas to be improved. For example, the beginning part should be cut as short as possible. Say what you should have said in a few sentences.
This is an introduction to the main part. I think my writing is a bit bad here. Although I expected it to be a piece of nonsense at the time, I didn't delete it. I think it is necessary to stay again. If I modify it now, I think I will delete the middle part. I think the first few sentences will do.
In conclusion, in this chapter, I think I have completed Understand the importance of self review: Learning (through peer review practice) how to become an effective editor, and then using those review skills on your own writing. The completeness, consistency and correctness of the document. This process can efficiently improve product quality, quickly eliminate defects, and provide solutions.
Section 4: Revision
Regarding the beginning of the thesis, I wrote a long one at the beginning. But then I put the teacher’s suggestion "At the very beginning, I wonder if it wouldn't be better to start with some sort of discussion about superheroes in our culture (they started in the late 1930s around the same time as WW2) and they represented what society at that time thought was a male hero. It seems like starting out with gender would be a good way to get into your focus right away" taking into account, deleted a lot of nonsense.
At the beginning, I didn't include the quoted stuff. Later, during my self-examination, I found that something was missing. Moreover, at the beginning of writing, there was no focus on the content of the object, and the entire article was processed in a general way, resulting in the core defect may not be found. Later, I made some corrections as much as possible.
